SIMPLE TUITION: Art Direction and design of SimpleTuition‘s new brand. The light blue, orange and green dots on the logo are linked with the 3 core segments of the new business, which are defined in the tagline – plan better, pay less, and pay back faster. These colors are used consistently throughout product and marketing channels in both online and print media to unify the products and the brand.
AUSTIN’S MOVEABLE FEAST: Art Direction and design of the identity for this upscale Texan restaurant, including the logo and business card.
SMARTER REWARDS: Logo design for SimpleTuition’s SmarterRewards, a banking rewards program designed to pay down student debt. The logo is linked to the company through its font face and colors – the dark blue is that of the SimpleTuition logo and the green reflects the “pay back” aspect of the product line. The icon draws on the multi-colored dots in the SimpleTuition identity, which suggest growth and multiplicity here as petals in the flower.
DEGREEWISE: Art direction and design of the Degreewise brand. SimpleTuition’s DegreeWise.com helps people find the right school based on their unique needs, from better career opportunities to meeting personal goals. The logo incorporates an anthropomorphised “i” that suggests a human being (the body is the base of the “i” and the head the dot) – and thereby underscores the uniqueness of each student’s individual choice – sporting a mortarboard, a classic symbol of earning an academic degree.
SIMPLESPEND: Art direction and design of the SimpleSpend brand, a prepaid card for students that allows you to pay down student loan debt with each purchase.
SAVE! AMERICA: Art Direction and design of neoSaej’s Save! America campaign. Soon after the launch of MoneyAisle.com, neoSaej promoted a contest to win a $5,000 High-Yield Savings account in an effort to shore up interest in putting money into savings during the economic crisis of 2008.
Riverbend Horticulture: Art Direction and design of the identity for Riverbend Horticulture.
COLLEGE ON THE CHEAP: Art direction and design of the College on the Cheap brand, a student-run resource center that provides students with a myriad of ways to make college cheaper, from better understanding funding opportunities to finding ways to save on books and other college expenses. The young and “cheap” aspect of the brand is captured in the gritty typeface as well as the indigo color that is typical of well-worn college T-shirts.
